    Our Story

EMOR, Inc. was founded in December 1999 for the purpose of providing mobile risk and asset management services to the U.S. Government and Private Insurance Industry.

It was inspired by a vision to provide federal, state, quasi-governmental, and private agencies alike with seamless service process offerings for all matters relating to insurance. Believing in the business theories of quality control, synergy, and economy of scale to be paramount in such product renderings; a team comprised of only the most motivated and experienced professional staff and subcontractors was assembled. Key Personnel

    Alvins D. Waller

    PRESIDENT & CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

In 1999, Alvins Waller founded EMOR, Inc. with a singular idea: to provide streamlined insurance and asset management services to the Private Insurance Industry and United States Government. Today, EMOR continues to pave the way for inventive and invested consulting for the private and governmental insurance industries.

Mr. Waller has over thirty years of risk and asset management experience, beginning with the United State Air Force (USAF) as the NCOIC of Administrative Functions for the Chief of Maintenance at the Little Rock AFB. Mr. Waller credits his experience in the U.S. Military for instilling the dedication to organizational structure and business protocol that continues to motivate the EMOR company strategy and company commitment to our Nation’s Veterans. Upon completing four years of service to the USAF, Mr. Waller pursued his dual degree in Political Science and Psychology from the University of Arkansas with unprecedented zeal, earning his Bachelor’s degree in two and one-half years.

Mr. Waller is an accomplished leader, with his management experience beginning at State Farm Insurance as a Storm Duty Supervisor for Field Claims Representatives and as an Arson Investigator. He served with State Farm from 1979 – 1989, becoming the company’s first African-American Property and Casualty Claims adjuster in the State of Arkansas. In 1982 Mr. Waller transitioned with State Farm as Storm and Catastrophe Supervisor to the company’s Fairfax, VA branch, serving until 1989. During this period Mr. Waller also earned his CPCU in Risk Management, IIA, and Master’s in Insurance Law from the Antioch School of Law (now the University of the District of Columbia).

Beginning in 1990, Mr. Waller began to structure the strategic principals upon which EMOR, Inc. would be formed, serving with MASCO, Inc. as co-founder until 1998. With MASCO, Mr. Waller began his long-term relationship with the federal government, leading the company’s work in mortgage insurance processing for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

Since 2000, Mr. Waller has facilitated numerous risk and asset management contracts for the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs with EMOR, Inc. He has also continued to provide consulting services to the Private Insurance Industry, including independent contracts with Crawford & Co. Mr. Waller is the President and CEO of EMOR, Inc., holding one hundred percent of all the outstanding shares of stock for the company.
